Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church

MISSION WORK

In the name of the servant Christ, we will serve others in a variety of social, economic and geographical contexts. The principalities and powers which render people and the world less than God created them to be will cause us to respond in ways that are caring, life-giving and reflect the love and justice of God.

Mission Work Dixie Care and Share Food Bank

Food is collected the first Sunday of each month. Annual Mission Trip – future plans. Clothing Drives -- two yearly drives for the needy via a rummage sale. Dixie Share and Care Men's Center -- Work with and assist in feeding the men who live there. Presbyterian Women-- provide for personal needs. Presbyterian Theological Seminaries -- financial support. Habitat for Humanity -- building affordable housing for God's people in Phoenix and Guadalupe. We provide office facilities for the organization. Every year a portion of Good Shepherd's budget is dedicated to the support of the Presbyterian Church's (USA) mission programs both locally, and through the General Assembly, Synod of the Rockies and the Presbytery of Utah.
