YOUTH GROUP
Youth Group meets at the Church at 500PM on Sundays. Youth between the ages of 10 and 18 are encouraged to attend.
Our mission is to challenge our youth to discipleship in Jesus Christ by forming an inclusive community of faith that responds to the needs and interests of young people, facilitates a partnership between youth and adults, and provides safety and healing to every young person that seeks it. Through a biblically based program, we seek to build bonds between our youth and the greater church, and to give them the solid foundation they will need for their spiritual journey into adulthood. We have an active, growing although small numerically, youth group. Our youth meet each Monday afternoon from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the Education Building. Rev Clingan, leads the youth in service projects, camping, and in Bible studies. Our youth participate within the life of the congregation by teaching Vacation Bible School, leading worship on special Sundays, and in the presentation of Christmas dramas. Individuals play instruments occasionally for the worship service. We participate in Presbytery wide youth events. We send youth to the national triennium events. We participate in youth events with fellow Presbyterians in the Las Vegas area.
