The Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (USA) succinctly casts a vision for the functions of the office of Deacon:

"The ministry of deacon as set forth in the Scripture is one of compassion, witness and service, sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, those burdened by unjust policies or structures or anyone in distress." (G-2.0201)

We minister to those in need and carry out the duties assigned to us by our Church and Elders. Listed below are the names of the Parish Deacons. Should you require assistance please contact the church office and our secretary will put you in touch with the appropriate Deacon.

Our Deacon's shed is a storage place for medical aids such as crutches, walkers, canes, a wheel chair, etc. We welcome the opportunity to loan any of these items to those who may need a little help. Please contact the church office if you need to borrow anything from the shed.
