The season of Lent and our celebration of Easter are always busy times at Good Shepherd and 2026 will be no exception.

Our observation of Lent formally begins on February 18th at Noon, with our Ash Wednesday service in our Sanctuary with our brothers and sisters from Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church. The service will be followed by a soup and sandwich lunch in Conklin Hall

On March 29th, Palm Sunday, we'll have our traditional Palm Sunday Breakfast beginning at 8:30 am in Conklin Hall. This event is always well attended and we appreciate the efforts of all who provide food for us. Our service on Palm Sunday will be filled with music by our choirs.

Plans for Maundy Thursday, April 2nd, are still being finalized but it will be a memorable evening.

The following day, Good Friday, will be kicked off at 10:30 am by the annual Procession of the Cross and closed with an Ecumenical Service at 7:00 pm in our Sanctuary.

We will not have adult education on Easter Sunday, April 5th, so we can all prepare ourselves to celebrate our Risen Lord. After the service, we hope you will join us for Easter Brunch in Conklin Hall.

We hope to see you at as many events as you can attend.
